Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The authors authorize the use of their images to publicize the work, if approved, on IBADFEM's social networks.
  • Authors must complete the minimum degree required by the respective sections of the journal who are submitting the writing, as well as instructing them with the required documents, if they choose to go through the translation section.
  • It is mandatory to present the address Curriculum Lattes or OrcID and the mini-curriculum by the authors who will submit the work to the journal.
  • The text must be sent according to the format available at mandatory layout, in Microsoft Word file (.doc or .docx), and authorship will not be identified, directly or indirectly, in any case, in order to to meet the requirements described in the submission guidelines.
  • The contribution is original and unpublished, that is, it must not be being evaluated for publication by another journal; otherwise, it must be justified in the comments to the publisher tab at the time of submission.
  • The authors declare that they agree with the provisions regarding copyrights. They also agree with the policies antiplagiarism, privacy and digital preservation and free access.
  • All electronic addresses (URL) in the text were provided for reference purposes and reviewed by the authors, being aware that unavailable or incomplete addresses will not be accepted.

Author Guidelines

The Revista Direito e Feminismos has several sections in order to provide writing opportunities for undergraduates, bachelors and specialists.

The sections of our journal are: Contemporary Doctrine, Foreign Doctrine, Commented Jurisprudence, Current Affairs, Translation and Reviews.

LAYOUT TEMPLATE(download required) - This layout template is available for writings to be submitted in any section of the Revista Direito e Feminismos.

The writings must comply with the guidelines contained in the layout model provided and, in what is omitted, must observe the ABNT standards. Below we transcribe the guidelines contained in the available copy.

  • Title formatting: Georgia font, size 12, bold, centered.
  • Subtitle formatting: Georgia font, size 12, centered.
  • Abstract (in English and foreign languages): Georgia font, size 10, justified, single spacing. It must contain between 100 and 200 words and be written in a single paragraph.
    Note: the abstract in a foreign language can be in Spanish or French.
  • Keywords: insert 03 to 05 keywords both in English and in the chosen foreign language. Keywords must be separated by a semicolon (;) and end with a period.
  • Paragraph formatting: Georgia font, size 12, justified, 1.5 cm line spacing, 06pt spacing before and after the paragraph. The first line of each paragraph will be indented by 1.5 cm.
  • Citations: we adopted the numerical system, that is, the reference of each citation must be indicated in a footnote.
  • Footnote: Georgia font, size 10, justified, single spacing, no spacing before and after.
  • Direct citation formatting (more than 3 lines): Georgia font, size 10, justified, single-spaced, with 06pt spacing before and after the paragraph, with 4 cm indentation on the left.
  • References: sorted in alphabetical order.

Scientific works must be unpublished, original and cannot be pending evaluation or publication in other journals. They must also be written in Portuguese and submitted for evaluation with the layout provided by the journal in .doc or .docx format.

Identification of authorship and/or co-authorship in the body of the text will not be accepted. The identification of the authors will be carried out after approval for publication of the article, using the data provided by the authors when registering on the journal's website.

The Revista Direito e Feminismos is not responsible for the contents or opinions exposed in the works, being the sole responsibility of the authors.

The authors undertake to inform at the time of registration:

  • whether there is a conflict of interest with the research;
  • whether there is research funding (grants, grants and others);
  • if the article requires ethics committee approval, it will inform the approval protocol and provide the committee's opinion;
  • if it is a translation, you must send a copy of the author(s) authorization, unless the work/writing is in the public domain.

Copyright Notice

The copyright, including property rights, on the published writings belong to the respective authors, however, the publication of the writing by the Law and Feminismos Journal implies, on the part of the authors, the free assignment of the first publication of your original.

The Revista Direito e Feminismos is authorized to proceed with the necessary modifications and corrections in the texts only to adapt to the formatting rules of the publication.
