Guidelines for the journal sections

The Revista Direito e Feminismos has several sections, namely: Contemporary Doctrine, Foreign Doctrine, Commented Jurisprudence, Current Affairs, Translation and Reviews, in order to provide writing opportunities for undergraduates, bachelors and specialists.

Contemporary Doctrine

The Contemporary Doctrine section is dedicated to theoretical reflection articles that deal with the thematic axes of the Journal, and must meet the parameters explained in the Submission Guidelines.

Papers submitted to this section will be evaluated by the double blind peer review system after a preliminary assessment by the Executive Editor, together with a member of the Executive or Editorial Board, in order to verify their suitability for the journal's editorial line.

Who can publish in the Contemporary Doctrine section?
Masters and Doctors.

Is it possible to have co-authors?
Yes, up to two co-authors are allowed in writing.

What is the maximum number of pages?
Articles must contain a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 pages, with exceptions being occasionally admitted by the Executive Board or Editorial.

 

Foreign Doctrine

The Foreign Doctrine section is dedicated to theoretical reflection articles that deal with the thematic axes of the Journal, and must meet the parameters explained in the Submission Guidelines. 

The works submitted to this section will be evaluated by the system double blind peer review after a preliminary evaluation by the Executive Editor, together with a member of the Executive or Editorial Board, in order to verify their suitability for the journal's editorial line.

Masters and Doctors.

Is it possible to have co-authors?

Yes, up to two co-authors are allowed in writing.

What is the maximum number of pages?

Articles must contain a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 pages, with occasional exceptions being allowed by the Executive or Editorial Board.

 

Commented Jurisprudence

The Commented Jurisprudence section is dedicated to articles that deal with specific cases with the analysis of national or foreign judicial decisions and reasoned comments on the subject of the decision.

The works submitted to this section will be evaluated by the Executive Board, therefore, they will not be evaluated by peers.

Who can publish in the Commented Jurisprudence section?
Undergraduates, Bachelors, Specialists, Masters and Doctors

Is it possible to have co-authors?
Yes, up to two co-authors are allowed in writing.

What is the maximum number of pages?
Commented case law articles are shorter and should contain a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 12 pages.

 

Current Affairs

The Current Affairs section is dedicated to short texts whose problems are in the legal daily life and are relevant to the editorial line of the journal to be submitted.

The works submitted to this section will be evaluated by the Executive Board, therefore, they will not be evaluated by parts.

Who can post in the Current Affairs section?
Undergraduates, Bachelors, Specialists, Masters and Doctors.

Is it possible to have co-authors?
Yes, up to two co-authors are allowed in writing.

What is the maximum number of pages?
Review articles are shorter and must contain a minimum of 03 and a maximum of 05 pages.

 

Reviews

The Reviews section is dedicated to the presentation of works with a critical-reflective and/or descriptive analysis of a given legal work that is relevant to the editorial line of the journal to be submitted.

The works submitted to this section will be evaluated by the Executive Board, therefore, they will not be evaluated by peers.

Who can post in the Review section?
Undergraduates, Bachelors, Specialists, Masters and Doctors.

Is it possible to have co-authors?
Yes, up to two co-authors are allowed in writing.

What is the maximum number of pages?
Review articles are shorter and must contain a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 pages.

 

Translation

The section deals with works translated in an unpublished way, presented for publication, and must, therefore, demonstrate not only the legal relevance but also the adequacy regarding the editorial line of the journal to be submitted.

The works submitted to this section will be evaluated by the Executive Board, therefore, they will not be evaluated by peers.

Who can post in the Translation section?
Undergraduates, Bachelors, Specialists, Masters and Doctors.

Is it possible to have co-authors?
Yes, up to two co-authors are allowed in writing.

What is the maximum number of pages?
Articles must contain a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 pages, with exceptions being occasionally allowed by the Executive Board or Editorial.

In the Translations section, the works must be accompanied by a document of authorization to perform the act and made available by the authors of the works to be translated, except in cases of public domain.
